The main objective of this study is to identify the effect foreign direct investment (FDI) and trade openness (TO) on income inequality in 25 Asian economies using panel data from 1991 2018. effects FDI region has been examined by Kuznets curve hypothesis growth–inequality relationship employing a random model, generalized least squares, system GMM estimations. This found that positive as they enhance region. It also non-linear with an inverted U-shape, which indicates growth increases certain level; after that, additional increase per capita GDP decreases inequality. exposed have increased inequalities region, making it difficult achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 10 within stipulated timeframe. should therefore review investment- trade-related policies reap benefits ensure equitable distribution.
